WHY COMPUTER IS IMPORTANT FOR ALL?

With computer and other way of information noone can be successful and work properly. Information and communication are the two most important strategic issues for the success of every industry or company. While today nearly every organization uses a substantial number of computers. To govern any company or organization in the way of success everyone need computer and fast way of information otherwise there appears many obstacles. To overcome these obstacles in an effective usage of information technology, computer networks are necessary. Computer networks can manage to put down the barriers between information held on several systems. We can build a borderless communication and information environment only with the help of computers. Computer networks provide communication possibilities faster than other facilities. Not only in the industrial areas computer has become important in every sectors like education, bank, NGOs and INGOs, many private offices and so on. In new generation there is being tried to make the education whole computerised. Wcomputers no one will be able to work and learn anything and step his life in forward direction. So computer is necessary for everyone in every sectors.

WHY COMPUTER IS A SYSTEM?

We said earlier that computer is a machine which does computation under specific wordy instructions. The computation job itself involves several other functions like reading the data, reading the program, outputting the result in a printed form in the desired format and so on. Each of these functions is done by separate functional units in the machine, but all of them act in coordination under common control. So we say that a computer is a huge system composed of several related functional units which act under a common control to achieve common objectives. A system is a composite entity made of inter-related elementary units or subsystems which jointly perform a task under the direction of a single control. The human being is a system, since it is composed of different functional units acting under a single control, the brain. In short, a system is a composite entity whose constituents work together for achieving a common goal. The constituents of a computer system also act together under a common control for doing the common job of data processing and so we say that the computer is a system.

THE MAIN PARTS OF THE COMPUTER

Computer is a multifuctional machine so it works with the support of it's many supporting parts. These parts work together but all have the different kind of works. So the main parts of computer are given below,
1. Central processing unit(CPU)
2. Monitor
3. Hard disk
4. Motherboard
5. Memory of computer
6. Keyboard
7. Mouse
Central processing unit(CPU): - CPU is also known as computer processor which is a electric circuit and executes computer programs. The main responsibility of this CPU is to execute a sequential set of instructions that constitute a program. During the CPU operation there occurs mainly four steps, they are fetch, decode, execute and writeback in which all the operation is performed.
Monitor: - It is a visual display unit. It is most-used output device of computer. The monitors are available with CRT technology, LCD and plasma screens.
Hard disk: - It is part of computer disk drive, which stores data and provides computer with quick access to large amount of data. A hard disk is set of disks that record data in concentric circles known as tracks.
Mother board: - A computer motherboard consists of sockets in which microprocessors are instelled, memory slots, a chipset that acts as an interface beteween the CPU bus and the peripheral buses non volatile memory chips housing the system's firmware and clock generator, which helps in the synchronization of various system components.
Memory of computer: - The parts which can achieve efficient storage of large volumes of data are memories of computer. They are also called the primary storer so they are used as primary storage. RAM is a form of computer memory.
Keyboard: - Keyboard is like as typewriter which is a output device of computer. Keys or the buttons are the electronic switches which can take command by pressing them.
Mouse: - Mouse is also known as a pointer which is used to point out the needed sesson in two dimensions. It changes or translates our hand (where we want to click) into signals to which computer can easily recognize and respond what we want to do.

WHAT IS COMPUTER?

Many types of machines are being invented in the world but computer is one of the most and amazing who has the usage of multiple purpose.Technically, a computer is a programmable machine. This means it can execute a programmed list of instructions and respond to new instructions that it is given. It works as the command it is provided and it can perform many types of work according to the software. Today, however, the term is most often used to refer to the desktop and laptop computers that most people use. When referring to a desktop model, the term "computer" technically only refers to the computer itself -- not the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Still, it is acceptable to refer to everything together as the computer. If you want to be really technical, the box that holds the computer is called the "system unit." Some of the major parts of a personal computer (or PC) include the motherboard, CPU, memory (or RAM), hard drive, and video card. While personal computers are by far the most common type of computers today, there are several other types of computers. For example, a "minicomputer" is a powerful computer that can support many users at once. A "mainframe" is a large, high-powered computer that can perform billions of calculations from multiple sources at one time. Finally, a "supercomputer" is a machine that can process billions of instructions a second and is used to calculate extremely complex calculations. So computer is the commandable and memoriable machine which can perform the command given.
